No School

I was supposed to put a current picture of our school up here tonight, but first our electricity went out and now pictures won't attach.

I'll try again tomorrow.

Sorry.

Off To Graduate

The 13 Graduates.

Students, Faculty, Guests.

The Procession.

The Graduation Ceremony

Prayer for anointing
Group shot after all was said and done.

The Man Can't Preach...

...Without the finger.

I take it as a good sign that after 7+ years of marriage I still find O.'s idiosyncrasies highly amusing.

It's That Time Of Year Again

Today was E. & C.'s first day of school. This is exciting for me but nerve racking as well. They've missed about 3 months of school. Not only that, they've missed the 1st 5 weeks of the new year.

Please pray for them to catch up. Thanks!

Cute, first day of school pix:

E. (in the green) started 1st grade today and is in the school with the big kids now (1st to 10th grade). C. remains in the preschool section. She is in Lower Kindergarten.

Dad And Em Have Gone

Dad and Em flew out last night and are in the air as I write. It was a great time with them and now I am finally ready to get back to my routine after 5 months away. E. & C. started school today. - Pictures to come.

*Many pictures of the last week - ready to be posted. Yay Yay!

Back in the saddle again...

It's Hot, It's Really Hot

Our electricity was out yesterday due to rolling brownouts - Thursday was our day. Man, it was hot. Look at the sweat on dad. He did dry off quite a bit after being fanned.
Visited the Slum school last night.
Our house groundbreaking ceremony was today. It was held at about 3PM, I could actually feel the skin on the top of my feet burning.

This is a picture of dad doing his part. (The first 4 people to "dig in" were overweight men over the age of sixty. The temperature was over 100. F. It was just God's grace that they all left there alive.)

Dad And Em With Children

I am having picture loading issues today, but here are Dad and Em during their visit to our Children's Home yesterday. Em brought tattoos to put on the kids.
Being welcomed by the children (yes, this should have come first.)

Graduation

Graduation

This is very exciting for me. Something that we have been working toward for many years is almost upon us.

The graduation of our first class of students from our Bible College.

Thirteen young men will graduate on Saturday night and within the next month go on to serve the Lord in the mission field. I have had the privilege of teaching these young men and spending time with them over the last two years.

One young man, who was one of our more difficult students recently spent time on the mission field working under one of our pastors. He baptized 7 people while he was there. The time spent in on the field in service really changed his life.

Pray for these young men as they are taking a step of faith to be the light of the world in a land of darkness.
